Harvest

Look at all the apples the boys harvested this year!

Alicia's workshops

Look what we grew!
We don't even have to get our hands dirty !
We made seed packets for the tomato seeds

We are really lucky because Alicia has come regularly this term                       and worked with children in the
garden.

Thanks Alicia, we love gardening with you and look forward to doing more next term.

ECO WARRIORS!
As many of you know, last year we started a school garden.  This year we have added a compost bin to the garden and we are now collecting our organic waste across the school and turning it into compost for the garden.  In our picture we see Etevilla, Kaylee, Anton and Shaddi  helping to paint the bins.

This is what our compost looks like now
home for what will be some great pumpkins!!!

Our School Garden

"Last weekend a group of hardworking volunteers began the task of creating a 'community garden' in the school ground. In our picture we see Whaea Angela and the children from Room 4 planning the next stage - planting!

Look how far we have come thanks to the wonderful support from our community.  We couldn't do it without you!
